I Built a Relative Strength Screener to Find the Market’s Hottest Growth Stocks

A 20-minute walkthrough of the Momentum Trading Strategy app, how I rank stocks by relative strength, screen for earnings and sales growth, track leading groups, and build watchlists before stocks bec

In this video, I walk through the Relative Strength Stock Screener inside the Momentum Trading Strategy App, and show exactly how I use it to find leading growth stocks.

This is the tool I built because I wanted to see what was actually showing strength across multiple timeframes, not just one year. I wanted to know which stocks were leading over 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year, then combine that with the same core traits I look for in big winners: strong earnings, strong sales, leading industry groups, technical strength, fund sponsorship, and clean watchlist management.

The goal is not to replace every platform. I still use TradingView for deeper chart work and still respect IBD/MarketSurge. This is simply the tool I built for the way I screen: start with relative strength, narrow the universe to tradable stocks, check the fundamentals, identify the leading groups, and then organize the best names into watchlists before they become obvious to everyone else.

Inside the video, I cover:

  • Relative strength rankings across multiple timeframes
  • How I filter out low-quality, illiquid names
  • How I screen for big earnings and sales growth
  • How I identify leading sectors and industry groups
  • How I use preset scans like Super Performers
  • How I build watchlists from “watch” to “near pivot” to “actionable”
  • How this fits into the full Momentum Trading Strategy process

This is the exact type of screening process I use to find hot growth stocks showing real leadership before I ever start thinking about entries, stops, or position sizing.
